Sony Ericsson W960i Walkman music phone























Sony Ericsson W960i runs on the Symbian UIQ platform. The user can operate the phone via the keypad, a scroll wheel situated on the side of the phone or using the handsets touch screen. There is an RSS reader, FM radio and built in email client. Being a Symbian phone it is possible to enhance the functionality of the handset by the addition of a range of third party software.

The walkman player on the W960i is the latest version 2.0 player with support for album art. With the new Media Manager replacing Disc2Go, transferring music to the handset is as easy as drag n drop. The W960i has the Sony Ericsson Track ID feature. This lets you record a snippet of unknown music to the phone and upload it to the Sony Ericsson website.The web browser is the excellent Opera browser for phones.
The W960i has an impressive 8GB of internal memory. The also has a 2.6” QVGA touch screen which supports 262,000 colours. Marked improvements from its predecessor, the W950i, include the addition of a 3.2 megapixel camera and a standard phone keypad.The W960i is a Tri band GSM and 3G handset.
