Sony ericsson is a game-centric phone, accelerometer is used for Wii/iPhone-esque controls. It is slightly disappointing that there is no touchscreen in this smart gizmo. With 2.4” QVGA display, this is a smartie with aGPS, bluetooth, 1GB microSD card and even a docking cradle! It is reported that two variants of Yari will be available; one with the GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS/HSUPA 900/2100 compatibility, and the latter with 3G compatibility from AT&T. Just like its siblings Yari is expected to greet the market by the last quarter of 2009, and comes in two different colours; cranberry white and achromatic black. It measures about 100 x 48 x 15.7mm and is slightly heavy with 115gms.
